Jay Arnold provides a range of services including coalition building, issue research, marketing, and navigating the legislative process, working with both corporate and non-profit clients.
Starting his career in 1997, Jay worked on the Texans for Rick Perry campaign, as a staffer for Jim Arnold & Associates, and later as an aide to State Senator Bob Deuell of Greenville. He started his association with Arnold Public Affairs in 2008 after spending time in the private sector. Jay worked for Austin Ventures, where he researched startup companies and monitored venture-backed companies as they entered the stock market. Jay was recruited to Lehman Associates as a corporate recruiter where he worked within the financial, non-profit and legal industries recruiting executive level professionals.
Jay enjoys the outdoors and is a founder of Lonestar Legacy, a 501c3 organization that raises money for organizations such as Boys and Girls Clubs of Austin, Austin Smiles, Dell Children’s Hospital, Cross Trail Outfitters and Austin Children’s Shelter. He is also a member of La Pasadita, a 501c3 that has raised over $500,000 for the Central Texas Scholarship Fund, a college scholarship fund for Central Texas youth. In 2008 Jay completed Republican Campaign College in Texas, a week-long campaign management training program.
Jay received a BS in History from Saint Edwards University.
Jay is married and has a daughter.
